JMD Series Long-term Hindered Rotation Torque Motor Cable Reel
Introduction
JMD series of long-term hindered rotation torque motor cable reel are mainly used for orbit type hoisting and conveying machinery and power engineering machinery(such as the tower crane,gantry crane,stacker-reclaimer, unloader, material mover,etc.)to transmit power supply,control signals or communication signals,video signals.Cable reel in this series is an independent system,unrelated to electromechanical and control system of the carts’ walking part.Users can choose the installation location automatically according to site situation.According to the quality capacity of cable reel(kg),this series of product can be classified as sub-50,150,650,1250,1500 models;according to transmission voltage,380V ,3KV,6KV,10KV;according to the sub-transmission current,20A,60A 100A 200A 300A 500A 800A.The cable reel can be made single-row or multi -row by the users’ requirement,it can also be designed according to users’ need.
Operation Principle of Cable Reel
Long-term hindered rotation torque motor type which the power parts of cable reel and regulation speed part born by motor has unique characteristics of electrical device and machinery.It has a wide of speed adjustment ad softer mechanical characteristic.The corresponding change of the rotational speed of the motor happens when load has changed,namely load increases and the rotational speed decreases,the load drops and the rotational speed raises.Moreover,motor can take long and steady operation at any point on the machinery features’ curve of its torque and rotational speed,so it can guarantee the cable obtain proper coiling speed and pulling force on the reel\s corresponding radius.
Coiling up:Cable motor outputs as power force,coiling up cable by reductor running the spool.
Releasing cable:Motor outputs torque as hindering force,preventing the cable from opening spool too fast,it guarantees synchronism of releasing cable.
When machinery shutting down,long-term hindered rotation motor is equipped with a normally chosed disc brake,which can guarantee the cable will not back fall from the reel for the action of the gravity when power cutting off.
